Sheldon is my husband's long lost twin

I got hooked in The Big Bang Theory this fall.  I swear it is the FUNNIEST show ever.  I laugh more because Sheldon reminds me of my George.

  • George is often caught wearing superhero t-shirts so does Sheldon.
  • He claims he's the smartest person he knows.

Replace Texas with New Jersey.
  • He has OCD, really.  He was diagnosed with it this summer.  We joke about it and I really do try to work on it with him.
  • He knows tons of weird B-rate Sci Fi movies and tv shows.
  • He demonstrates said knowledge often.
  • He has "his seat".
  • He insists that anyone who doesn't share his opinion is illogical.  He actually told me this week that!  He  and I didn't see eye to eye on something and he told me obviously I wasn't as intelligent as he was because I failed to see the benefits of what we were discussing.

The only flaw in my theory is if George is Sheldon like, that makes me

Kids Say the Darndest Things

Jon has two really loose teeth.  His teeth are so loose that they are hanging by a thread.  Sunday as we were on our way to church I overheard a conversation between Jon and Matthew that went a bit like this:

Jon: "I know Matty but they hurt."

Matthew: "Just think about it this way, you'll get 5 dollars.  Isn't that worth the pain?"

Jon: "Kinda, but I don't know how to wiggle them out.  Can you help?"

Matthew: "Ok, but remember if I pull the tooth I get the money."

Jon: *HUFF*

Matthew: "Don't worry, I'll share some of the money with you!"
In other words, Matthew wants 5 more dollars and he things by pulling out Jon's teeth he'll get the money.

Wookies, R2D2, and Robots Oh My

Yesterday was the first day of Extended School Year for the boys.  It started last week but we were in Boston or the genetic study.  I stopped to talk to one of the supervisors about what was said while we were at the study.       Jon has been doing this thing lately where he makes a sound like this
He does this all.day!  All effing day!

Meanwhile, this is Matthew at the same time Jon is doing his Wookie act.

Chris started in on the act with "I.AM.A.ROBOT!"

It makes for an interesting time.  This is my house all day.  Someone needs a new stimming pattern, mama needs a break!
